Trends has been keeping a digital finger firmly on the pulse of on the pre-Fringe conversation out there in Twitter-space. We've already published our first round-up — here we dive even further into the data and take a look at a few of the acts we reckon are set to make waves this Fringe.

Comedy Pick — LAURA LEXX: Trying

If the conversations are anything to go by, Laura Lexx was a huge success at previews and is carrying a lot of momentum into this Fringe. She's had a steady stream of compliments with many users going out of their way to recommend the show. Definitely one to watch!

Newly-written solo theatre piece Dangerous Giant Animals has wowed at previews and is steadily staking out territory as a prominent front-runner in our theatre analysis— keep an eye on this one.

Musicals & opera PICK — LUCKY

Lucky, a new musical from the Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society is causing a buzz in the run-up to the Fringe. We think this one is going to hit the ground running.

FREE FRINGE PICK — Anna Morris: Bombastic

With her new stand-up show Bombastic, Anna Morris has been impressing at previews and is setting a lot of digital tongues wagging out there in Twitter-space. She's heading up our current analysis for Free Fringe entries with a steady stream of mentions and a lot of positivity. In our opinion, an act to look out for.

SPOKEN WORD PICK — Loki, the Scottish Rapper: Poverty Safari Live

Loki (AKA Darren McGarvey) has been impressing audiences and generally causing a stir. We've noticed several heartfelt recommendations for this show out there in Twitter-space, and some real momentum building.
