One Way Mirror

With #OneWayMirror, Jonathan Oldfield cleverly engages us in a mix of #voyeurism, mystical intrigue & cheeky #comedy. The play’s core—a man with a one-way mirror in his living room—offers us an urban odyssey splashed with the #supernatural, yet demands our involvement to shape its journey…🧭

…What ensues is an interesting blend of audience interaction, magic-infused puns & narratives peppered with intriguing choices. We're left teetering⚖️ between the casual voyeur & the direct participant, our choices influencing the course of the tale…

…Oldfield, our charming raconteur, lends much to the play's charm. His warm humor fills the space even when the jokes aren’t knee-slappers & he expertly veers between seriousness & jest…🃏

…But wait, is it all real or just the illusion of choice? 🤔 We seem to shape the narrative but do we really? And that #mystical undercurrent, tantalising but undercooked, serves more as a narrative spice rather than the main dish…🍽️

…Nonetheless, #OneWayMirror serves up a hearty portion of fun, inviting us to peer into the realms of observation, intervention & our own past. Sure, it might leave a few thematic threads loose, but who cares when you're having such a hoot!...😂😂

…Expect to leave with your sides slightly aching, your mind slightly puzzled, and a newfound fascination for people-watching (and serious paranoia about mirrors).😬🪞
