@KhaosEurope's drama sees a diplomat arrested & starts strong with a tight ensemble amping the punchy text. Sadly, it unravels— wavering stakes sap energy from the plot, while intense torture scenes overpower any Roald Dahl-type whimsy promised in the synopsis. 3/5
